FINAL PROPS AND COSTUMES.

I have now decided what I want me cast to wear in my video. However, I need to make sure they all own or are able to borrow and wear these when filming.

I am really behind with my filming, because whenever I need to film, my cast is doing something else, but I am experimenting with all the effects which will make things quicker when I actually edit the whole video!!!

I have also done tittles which will show the two main characters in the video : Robert Luke playing Marc Anthony, and Alvaro Sanchez playing Pitbull.  This will also show the name of the song which I think might be part of the promotion of the video because it is letting everyone know what the video is, and the name of the song.  Not any official videos show the name of the song and the name of the artistis which I think doesnt help while making the decision of whether to watch it or not. As done in my research, the artist play a very important part in the decisions, different artists attract different audiences.

Weather conditions such as storms, snow, rain, etc. Actors might slip if the ground’s too icy. Anyone involved in the movie could have a panic attac or might just be too stressed which can cause them to faint. WEATHER FORECAST

As I want a particullar lighting in my filming when filming outside which is most of it, I had to check the BBC Weather Forecast website for the rest of this week.
The picture attached shows the predictions for the weather, and as you can see, it doesnt look like it will be to bright and sunny apart from today(Thursday) and Saturday.
This means that I am either gonna have to film loads on Saturday, or I might have to wait until next week to film aswell.
I need to talk to the cast and see what is convinience for them aswell.

SHOOTING LIST

I have made the shooting list I am going to follow when filming my music video. I am aware that changes might happen during the time I film all of it, so with this list I have a very clear idea of what to film and what I need to get done. I think it is very important that I have this list done properly as most of my shots will be taken from here.
Here are the scanned version of my list.

STORY ARC.

I want my vieo to be based on love and passion between boys and girls, I want this because the reputation of the original characters can be seen as the one of players.
I am going to start my video with a long shot and stablishin shot of one of the male main part(Rob Luke) in a room with a girl(Emily Harbinson), the girls should be "playing hard to get". In this part, it is Rob singing by himself.
After the first few seconds, there will be a high angled extreme long shot of the other male main part(Alvaro Sanchez) signing outside, the location for this will be South Lawn. This will bring passion and interest to the video as Pitbull relates everything to do with his lyrics to girls, no matter how much of a player he is. Then another girl(Georgia Patterson) will be involved in the next few shots which will be close ups of her face and her walking down Silent walk(picture of it on locations). This will give my video a better feeling of passion-her walking away from him.
As all I want is passion in the video, I will try to make the video as exciting as I can by playing with different shots and having loads of effects such a colour wash, black and white, etc.
When Rob Luke sings, I would like it to mainly be close ups of his face because he has strong facial expressions. I will have various shots of the characters inside, such as in Ghosue having a "drink", or dancing with a different background.
I would also like to use some stop motion techniques such as when the two male parts sing
together.
When I film the school grounds with no characters in I would like it to be with bright lighting.
By the end of my music video I would like the girls to realise what Pitbull(Alvaro) is actually like.
The girls whould pretend that they are inlove" with the boys, so it gives passion to the video, but what the boys don't know is that they are all concerned of them.
Quick short shots editted together can always make videos more interesting and more exciting.
I have also given thought to giving completely different effects to the shots such as colour wash or making them brighter or dimmer.
They story line isnt too clear oir easy to understand because I didnt really want a proper story line to my video, I wanted it to seem like it was a "normal" day/phase for them to be playing girls around.

With these pictures I am trying to show the story line I would like to base my video on, the passion and the games the boys play with with girls.

ANIMATIC STORY.

PROPS AND COSTUMES.

 I have attached the kind of clothes I would like my characters to wear, they arent the definate ones, but they will be very similar.

The boys will be wearing very simple outfits, but they will look casual in them, jeans and shirts. And as said before, I didnt really want the girls to wear many clothes, but I haven't just used the ideas from the original music video, the style and clothes I chose will be quite diffferent but inspired in it.

CASTING.

-Pitbull will be Alvaro Sanchez because Pitbull sings some of the lyrics in Spanish, and Alvaro Sanchez is Spanish so obviously speaks the language. This will make the video look more real and more exciting. I have already spoken to him about it and he agrees with me, and as he is another Media Studies student he can help me through out the course.


-Marc Anthony will be Rob Luke, a guy in my year who takes Drama and Media, and has taken dance lessons before. He is also in the school choir which will make the filming easier as he wont be embarrassed or nervus to do it. I have chosen him because he could also help me make desicions for my video as he's quite expirienced. 



-Girl walking away will be Georgia Patterson because the brown hair makes them look quite similar and as she takes Drama as ALevel, I suppose she will be a great "actress"





-Girl with snake, I think this character could be Lella Soper, she is a good looking girl(key part of a music video) and she will be more than happy to do it.

-Girl in the black and white dress will be Imogen Ross, this is because they part these girls play in the video really match her personality. I think this is a good advantage I should take for my video. Not having to act so much can always help. 








-Girl in the pool will be Kaylin Cowie, but as we're in Scotland and the weather is too cold, I will not be taking any shots with girls in a pool. I believe Kaylin will be good na will meet people's expectations of having good looking characters in the video.





-Girl playing with Pitbull will be Emily Harbinson because the character matches her personality and that will make the filming easier. She's also a Media Studies student and could help when decision making and could let me know her opinion  while filming.

STORY BOARD.

I have made a story board of drawings with the main shots i would like to use in my video. I will of course change some of them when it comes to filming, or maybe the order, but this is just an important idea of my planning.
